We're looking for a Head of Marketing to take full ownership of marketing at Execo. You'll own strategy, planning, brand, organic demand generation, account based marketing, and the performance of the function.
There's real work already in motion. An account based program is running against our existing customers, our thought leadership program is publishing consistently, and our story in the market is taking shape. What we need now is someone to take all of it further and build the parts that don't exist yet.
This is a role for a marketer who thinks and makes. You'll set the direction and then go build it, working alongside, managing, and mentoring our Marketing Manager. Positioning, campaigns, writing, plays: you'll be close to all of it. The people who thrive here are the ones who see a blank page as the best part of the job.
Marketing an AI embedded services firm credibly means using this stuff yourself. Our team builds its own tooling, tests new models as they land, and treats AI as part of how the work gets done rather than a topic we write about. We're looking for someone who works the same way and wants to keep getting better at it.
You'll be trusted to run marketing your way. Your manager retains strategic oversight and budget sign off, and after an initial handoff the working rhythm is high autonomy: you make the day to day calls, you set your team's priorities, and you raise the things that genuinely need a second opinion. This suits someone who wants the room to own an outcome rather than someone who wants close direction.
Marketing strategy and planning
Own and execute the marketing plan across our full portfolio of services
Develop the thesis that connects our data foundation, implementation, and managed operations work into one coherent story for buyers who meet us at different stages
Deliver a portfolio wide plan that leadership signs off on within your first 90 days
Manage the marketing budget and report on performance against it
Account based marketing
Take over the account based program already running against existing customers and improve on it measurably within 60 to 90 days
Design and run plays of your own. We'd expect at least one you originated inside your first quarter
Report engagement and pipeline at the account level, with expansion and cross sell tracked as its own number
Organic demand generation
Grow qualified inbound through positioning, craft, search visibility, and earned distribution, and show movement on the leading indicators within your control
Build and run campaigns end to end in HubSpot: landing pages, forms, workflows, email, lists, and reporting. This is work you'll do yourself
Bring cost per opportunity down without new spend. Paid media isn't a focus of this role, and the results we're proudest of have come from ideas rather than budget
Brand
Lead the ongoing refinement of the Execo brand across messaging, voice, proof, category positioning, and visual identity
Content and thought leadership
Set the editorial direction and point of view for our thought leadership program
Manage, edit, and develop our Marketing Manager, who owns content execution across LinkedIn first social, the blog, the editorial calendar, and our newsletter
Raise the quality bar on everything we publish, and help your colleague grow
Working across the firm
Partner closely with our sales and delivery teams. Marketing at a services firm is only credible when it reflects what delivery actually does, and only useful when sales can act on it
Build those relationships early. Your first 30 days should include a lot of listening
Building something durable
Create a function that keeps running when you're on leave, with documented plays, systems, and reporting
Deliver against pipeline targets you and your manager set together at month three, working with the team you have
Keep improving how marketing works. We expect the tooling and workflows behind this function to look different in a year because you found better ways to run them
You've owned B2B marketing for a complex, considered purchase service or product sold to enterprise buyers in Western markets, with sales cycles measured in months and several people in the buying group
Your results have come from positioning, craft, and earned distribution rather than media spend, and you're comfortable building an engine before there's money to scale it
You've designed and run account based plays yourself, and you can walk us through what you built and what it produced
You can execute independently in HubSpot: building campaigns, landing pages, forms, workflows, email, and reporting without waiting on anyone
You write well. A lot of this role's output is writing and/or reviewing someone else’s writing
You use AI in your own work every day and can show us how. We're interested in what you've actually built or changed: research and content workflows, custom prompts or assistants, tools you've wired together, processes you rebuilt because a model made the old way obsolete. Fluency here means practice, not opinions
You stay current by instinct. New capabilities land constantly and you're the sort of person who tries them, forms a view, and brings the useful ones to the team
You bring ideas. We want someone whose point of view makes our marketing better, not someone waiting to be told the plan
You're willing to get deep into a technical category. You don't need a legal background, but you'll need the curiosity to understand contract data, CLM, and legal operations well enough to talk credibly to specialists
You've managed and developed at least one person, and you enjoyed it
Exposure to legal, legaltech, RegTech, ALSP, LPO, or adjacent services in regulated industries
Experience marketing from an offshore or distributed delivery model to buyers in Western markets
Experience marketing a portfolio of related services rather than one offering
