Senior Data Engineer

CassianRx is a healthcare technology company on a mission to streamline specialty care. They are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own the ETL pipeline, identify key metrics, and automate reporting to enhance their patient engagement software platform.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain data transformations in Python and SQL
• Fully own our ETL pipeline built on Apache Airflow (expansion, data modeling, testing, and incident response when it fails)
• Integrate and deploy existing models into production pipelines
• Evolve our data infrastructure as reporting needs move toward near real-time
• Build and maintain dashboards and self-serve reporting
• Identify new data products, feeds, and partnership opportunities as our data footprint grows
• Evolve our data architecture over time as our reporting and product needs grow more sophisticated
• Document and communicate analytics behavior to cross-functional teams

Requirements:

• 5+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, BI development, or an analyst role where you owned the pipeline
• Experience writing production Python code
• Experience with Apache Airflow
• Strong SQL
• Experience with at least one BI tool
• Experience working with Git and performing code review
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Agile/Scrum
• Experience working under HIPAA / working with PHI
• Experience with cloud data warehouses
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related STEM field
