Director of Product Management (Life Sciences & Healthcare)

Clarivate is a leading analytics company seeking a Director of Product Management for their Life Sciences & Healthcare division. The role involves leading product strategy and execution for the Cortellis R&D portfolio, focusing on AI-driven innovation and cross-functional collaboration to drive market impact.

Responsibilities:

• Drive Product Strategy and Vision: Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy across a portfolio, translating market dynamics, customer needs, and business priorities into actionable roadmaps and investment decisions
• Lead Product Execution and Delivery: Ensure consistent and effective product practices across discovery, prioritization, and delivery, working closely with engineering and UX teams to deliver high quality, impactful outcomes
• Shape AI-Driven Innovation: Drive the adoption of AI capabilities across the product area, partnering with engineering and data science teams to deliver scalable, reliable AI powered features
• Champion Customer and Market Insight: Act as the voice of the customer by building strong engagement and feedback loops, ensuring product decisions are grounded in real workflows, usage data, and competitive insights
• Partner on Go-to-Market and Commercial Success: Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Sales, and customer facing teams to define positioning, support product launches, and ensure alignment between product strategy and commercial execution
• Lead and Influence Cross-Functionally: Align stakeholders across product, engineering, UX, data science, and commercial teams, driving clear prioritization and strategic decision making
• Manage Strategic Partnerships: Build and manage relationships with external partners and vendors, identifying opportunities to enhance capabilities and accelerate delivery through collaboration

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience in product management, including leadership roles
• Enterprise product experience (building and scaling products used by large, complex organizations)
• Proven ability to define and execute product strategy in a multi-stakeholder, cross-functional environment
• Experience delivering AI-powered product capabilities in production environments
• Experience working with cross functional teams across product, engineering, and commercial functions in a matrix environment
• Experience presenting product strategy, roadmaps, and outcomes to senior stakeholders
• Experience in life sciences, healthcare, or data/analytics platforms
• Experience working with globally distributed teams
• Experience in competitive intelligence, market intelligence, or workflow driven products
