Lead Product Marketing Manager

Dave is a financial app on a mission to build products that level the financial playing field. They are seeking a Lead Product Marketing Manager to help define how products are brought to market, establishing processes and frameworks while executing hands-on across existing and new products.

Responsibilities:

• Define who we’re building for using deep, data-backed segmentation that goes beyond demographics
• Create an actionable segmentation of current members based on activity, lifecycle stage, demographics, and product usage—used to power onboarding, cross-sell, engagement, and churn mitigation
• Help clearly define Dave’s category and how our products—both established and new—compare to alternatives
• Craft clear, differentiated value propositions and product narratives that connect rational and emotional benefits and stay consistent across the funnel
• Partner early with Product, Research, and Analytics to shape positioning and go-to-market strategy for new products as they move from concept to launch
• Track competitive offerings, category shifts, and emerging member needs to keep Dave differentiated and forward-looking
• Establish scalable product marketing processes—how insights are gathered, decisions are made, launches are supported, and quality is maintained as the portfolio grows
• Bring rigor to decision-making by leveraging research, analytics, and testing to pressure-test ideas, mitigate risk, and ensure the member perspective is embedded in roadmaps

Requirements:

• 7+ years of product marketing experience on consumer-facing products
• B2C fintech product marketing experience
• Proven strength in segmentation, positioning, and value proposition development tied to business outcomes
• Strong data fluency, with experience partnering closely with Analytics and Research
• Track record of influencing senior leaders in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
• Exceptional communicator who can simplify complex ideas into clear, actionable direction
• Experience working with credit-challenged or underserved consumers
• Experience with consumer BNPL products
