D365 Business Central Finance Consultant

Empiric is a leading customer-focused company seeking a D365 Business Central Finance Consultant. The consultant will serve as the finance lead for system enhancements within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, collaborating closely with finance and IT teams to optimize financial processes for a client in the food industry.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the finance workstream for Business Central implementations and enhancements tailored to the food industry
• Analyze financial documents and related business processes to identify improvement opportunities, with a focus on industry-specific needs
• Configure and customize Business Central to meet specific finance requirements
• Provide end-user training and support for finance modules
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system specifications
• Review and test new Business Central features and updates
• Troubleshoot and resolve finance-related issues within Business Central
• Prepare documentation and reports as required

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Finance Consultant on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central projects
• Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and ERP best practices
• Experience with system configuration, customization, and user support
• Accounting background
• Experience working with clients in the food industry is highly desirable
