SW Development Engineer 1

The SW Development Engineer 1 role is crucial for developing applications for the Android platform to enhance user experience and meet the needs of an expanding user population.

Responsibilities:

• You design and build applications for the Android platform
• You implement requirements on Android apps, write and update design documents
• You will continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to strengthen development efficiency
• You interface with software test to ensure high quality product
• You develop automated unit and integration tests
• You participate in design, code and test reviews
• You propose and implement enhancements to the apps to improve sustainability

Requirements:

• You have native Android app development experience using Kotlin in combination with Jetpack Compose
• You have professional software development experience
• You bring a high degree of diligence in documentation, testing and coding
• You have experience working in Agile teams & using tools such as Jira and Confluence
• You have experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Github Actions
• You have experience with version control tools such as Git, Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket and GitFlow
• You have experience writing automated tests using Espresso and Mokito
• You have knowledge of design patterns such as MVC, MVVM, MVP
• Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 0-2 years of related experience
• Knowledge of Java is preferred
