Product Manager

AlphaSignal is building the intelligence layer for AI, and they are seeking a Product Manager to own the AlphaSignal Pro product end to end. The role involves defining product vision, building user experiences, and collaborating with various teams to create a product that serves AI engineers and practitioners.

Responsibilities:

• Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AlphaSignal’s intelligence platform AKA AlphaSignal PRO
• Turn AlphaSignal’s newsroom, data, and knowledge graph into clear, useful product experiences
• Build core discovery and research workflows, including search, alerts, and AI-powered answers with trusted sources
• Translate customer needs into focused product briefs and priorities for engineering, editorial, and design
• Measure product usage and quality, then lead a fast cycle of shipping, learning, and improving

Requirements:

• 4+ years of product management experience, with meaningful ownership of a core user-facing product
• A track record of shipping zero-to-one products or major new product surfaces, not only optimizing existing features
• Experience with at least one information-rich product category: market intelligence, media or news, research, search and discovery, developer platforms, knowledge tools, or data products
• Strong product judgment for turning dense, complex information into intuitive user experience
• Enough technical fluency to work closely with engineers on search, recommendations, data pipelines, LLMs, RAG, evaluations, and knowledge graphs
• Experience conducting user research, setting a roadmap, writing requirements, prioritizing tradeoffs, and measuring whether a product is actually useful
• Strong written communication and the ability to align editorial, technical, and business stakeholders
• Comfortable operating in a small company with direct founder access, high ambiguity, and a high bar for ownership
• Product experience at a market-intelligence, financial-data, research, developer, or technology-media company
• Shipped an AI search, answer, summarization, recommendation, alerting, or personalization product
• Built products for engineers, researchers, analysts, investors, or other demanding professional users
• Worked with editorial systems, content taxonomies, entity resolution, metadata, or knowledge graphs
• Built community, profile, submission, collection, or reputation systems
• Previously worked as an engineer, data analyst, researcher, designer, or journalist
