Hiring: Automation Technician Molding & Assembly Automation
We're looking for an experienced Automation Technician to support molding and assembly automation systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Job Description:
As an Automation Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing automation systems, including industrial robots, PLCs, HMIs, conveyors, sensors, and vision systems. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, robot programming, equipment optimization, production startup support, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will work with electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems while ensuring compliance with ISO, FDA, and GMP standards.
Key Requirements:
2 5 years of experience in molding or assembly automation
Hands-on experience with industrial robot programming and troubleshooting
Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, industrial sensors, and automation systems
Electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
Experience with preventive maintenance and process optimization
Exposure to robots such as FANUC, Sepro, Yushin, Wittmann, ABB, KUKA, Epson, UR, Kawasaki, Motoman/Yaskawa, or Mitsubishi is a plus
