Lead the Next Chapter of Behavioral Healthcare in Arkansas
Arisa Health is seeking an experienced, visionary, and mission-driven executive to serve as its next President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Following a significant organizational transformation, the Board seeks a collaborative leader who can unify teams, strengthen culture, modernize operations, and position the organization for long-term sustainability and growth.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO provides strategic, operational, financial, and cultural leadership while guiding Arisa Health through its next phase of growth, modernization, and mission-driven impact.
Required:
• Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, Behavioral Health, or another related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible executive or senior leadership experience in healthcare, behavioral healthcare, nonprofit management, or a closely related field.
Preferred:
• Experience leading organizational transformation.
• Multi-site healthcare leadership.
• Experience with behavioral healthcare, Medicaid/Medicare, CARF, revenue cycle modernization, and healthcare policy.
• Knowledge of Arkansas's behavioral healthcare ecosystem, including Medicaid, regulations, funding mechanisms, and governmental processes.
• Experience working with Arkansas healthcare organizations, state agencies, or community stakeholders is highly desirable.
The successful candidate demonstrates experience in organizational transformation, healthcare innovation, financial stewardship, revenue cycle management, healthcare policy, geographically dispersed leadership, culture building, and mission-driven leadership.
Knowledge of the Arkansas Healthcare Landscape:
• Understanding of Arkansas's behavioral healthcare delivery system, regulatory environment, Medicaid program, state agencies, funding mechanisms, and community mental health system.
• Experience working with governmental, regulatory, and community stakeholders.
• Candidates from outside Arkansas should demonstrate the ability to quickly learn the state's healthcare landscape and build effective relationships.
