Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Shipt is a retail tech company that connects people to reliable, high-quality delivery with a personal touch. As a Senior Data Scientist on the Foundations team, you will implement advanced machine learning models and collaborate with various teams to address challenges in pricing domains.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing cutting edge models
• Designing and analyzing advanced experiments in collaboration with product, business, and engineering teams
• Solving key challenges across multiple pricing domains at Shipt
• Being the subject matter expert in a machine learning domain or experimentation
• Building cutting edge ML solutions
• Validating the impact of algorithmic changes to key business metrics
• Presenting recommendations to key stakeholders

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in applying machine learning and statistics in an industry setting, with a track record of delivering impactful results
• PhD or Masters in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
• Experience with building and deploying machine learning models
• Experience with experiment design, rollout, analysis and reporting
• 4+ years Python development
• Experience presenting to stakeholders
• Experience leading key technical projects and substantially influencing the scope and output of others
• Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Machine Learning Algorithms, Python (Programming Language) Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
