Product Designer (AI Powered Incident Management Platform)

Beacon Hill is partnering with a leading enterprise organization seeking a senior Product Designer to help shape the future of AI-powered incident management and operational intelligence. This role will directly influence how enterprise teams interact with AI-driven operational tools, transforming complex technical processes into intuitive user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Design intuitive experiences for AI-powered incident management and operational intelligence platforms
• Conduct user research and translate complex technical workflows into user-centered solutions
• Lead end-to-end design efforts including discovery, interaction design, prototyping, usability testing, and validation
• Design data-rich dashboards, monitoring interfaces, investigation workflows, and operational tools
• Partner closely with engineering, product management, platform, and security teams to define and solve complex problems
• Apply systems thinking to create scalable and consistent experiences across interconnected products and services
• Drive iterative design practices through rapid experimentation, testing, and continuous feedback loops
• Advocate for accessibility, enterprise UX best practices, and responsible AI design principles
• Mentor designers and contribute to the growth of design practices across teams
• Align design decisions to business goals, operational efficiency, and measurable user outcomes

Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional UX or Product Design experience focused on enterprise or highly technical products
• Proven experience researching and designing incident management tools, observability platforms, monitoring solutions, or developer-focused products
• Experience designing AI-powered products, AI-assisted workflows, or machine learning-enabled user experiences
• 5+ years applying user-centered design methodologies from discovery through implementation
• 5+ years of experience across user research, interaction design, visual design, or related UX disciplines
• 5+ years collaborating with engineering teams and influencing product direction
• 3+ years working in agile, lean, or iterative development environments
• 2+ years designing for developer tools, infrastructure platforms, security products, or other technical domains
• 2+ years designing complex systems, cloud-based platforms, or data-heavy enterprise applications
• Advanced proficiency with Figma, Miro, and modern design and prototyping tools
• Working knowledge of modern front-end technologies and enterprise design systems
• Strong systems-thinking mindset and ability to understand complex architectures and workflows
• Demonstrated ability to align design strategy with measurable business outcomes
• Experience designing tools used by DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), operations, or security teams
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, cloud infrastructure, observability, or monitoring platforms
• Experience creating dashboards, analytics solutions, and data visualization experiences
• Strong understanding of AI/ML-enabled products and AI-assisted workflows
• Experience leveraging AI tools for research, prototyping, ideation, or content generation
• Experience advocating for UX within large-scale technical organizations
• Experience mentoring designers and elevating design practices
• Knowledge of healthcare or other regulated industries
• Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills
