Senior Software Engineer

Harrison Clarke is a high-growth, venture-backed AI company building the infrastructure layer for enterprises in regulated industries. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build and scale core services, working closely with technical leadership on architecture and AI initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and operate cloud-native backend services using Python and Kubernetes
• Build scalable, secure, and observable platform services that support enterprise-grade AI workloads
• Work across platform, infrastructure, and product teams to deliver features end-to-end
• Contribute to event-driven and distributed system architectures operating in production environments
• Leverage AI-assisted engineering tooling to improve development velocity and software quality
• Contribute to emerging AI engineering patterns including agentic systems, retrieval architectures, and AI-enabled workflows

Requirements:

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, with strong backend and platform engineering fundamentals
• Strong proficiency with Python and experience working with cloud-native technologies
• Experience deploying and operating applications on Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, event-driven architectures, observability, and CI/CD
• A passion for building reliable systems that operate in complex and highly regulated environments
• Exposure to cloud environments such as Azure (preferable) or AWS
• Experience working with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar
