DevOps Engineer

Brooksource is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer/Senior DevOps Engineer to support cloud transformation and modernization initiatives. The role designs, deploys, automates, secures, and supports scalable Azure solutions, including infrastructure, Kubernetes workloads, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and enterprise cloud services.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure and platform services
• Configure and support Azure services including Virtual Machines, App Services, Storage Accounts, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, and AKS
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
• Manage Kubernetes workloads and containerized applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Configure and maintain Azure networking components, security controls, and access management
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational best practices
• Collaborate with development, architecture, and support teams to deliver enterprise cloud solutions
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cloud architecture and design discussions

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of overall IT experience with at least 6 years of hands-on Azure experience
• Strong expertise in Azure infrastructure and platform services
• Azure Virtual Machines
• Azure Networking (VNETs, NSGs, Load Balancers)
• Azure Storage
• Azure App Services
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Azure Key Vault
• Azure SQL Database
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD implementation
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Azure CLI scripting
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Azure Certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400, or AZ-500
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or AI/ML workloads
• Knowledge of cloud security, governance, and cost optimization
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise cloud environments
• Experience with healthcare domain applications
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, and event-driven architectures
• Exposure to AI/GenAI platforms and cloud-native application modernization
