Backend Python Engineer – Security, IAM & Healthcare Data

Philodesign Technologies Inc is seeking a Backend Python Engineer with strong expertise in Security, IAM, and Healthcare Data. The role involves building secure and scalable backend services, implementing authentication solutions, and ensuring compliance with healthcare data standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop secure, scalable backend services and REST APIs using Python
• Implement authentication and authorization solutions using IAM, SSO, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and RBAC
• Build and optimize data workflows across AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, SQL, and Kafka
• Ensure secure handling of healthcare data in compliance with HIPAA standards
• Develop automated testing, monitoring, logging, and security controls for production systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality backend solutions

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Backend Python development experience
• Strong expertise in Python and REST API development
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, SQL, and Kafka
• Experience implementing IAM, SSO, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and RBAC
• Strong understanding of secure backend architecture and authentication
• Experience working with HIPAA/PHI-compliant healthcare data
• Knowledge of HL7 ADT message formats
• Experience with FHIR
