Senior Software Engineer

Toast is a restaurant technology company that builds platforms to help restaurants manage and grow their businesses. Toast is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement scalable solutions for its Toast Tables reservations platform, improve performance and usability, and collaborate with Product and Design stakeholders on high-impact initiatives.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in using Java, Kotlin, or other object-oriented languages
• Proficient with modern API standards and technologies (e.g. REST, GraphQL)
• Proficient with relational databases and alternative data stores
• Familiarity with React and front-end development a strong plus
