Sales Development Representative

Deepgram is the leading platform underpinning the emerging trillion-dollar Voice AI economy, providing real-time APIs for speech-to-text and text-to-speech. They are seeking an Inbound Sales Development Representative to drive new customers and revenue by creating sales opportunities and working closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Work with our Partnerships team, Account Executives, and your fellow SDRs to build a strong sales pipeline of new logos, striving to exceed quarterly sales targets
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (especially Sales Ops and Sales Engineers) to ensure sales effectiveness
• Have a depth of understanding regarding customer needs in the ASR space, competition, and Deepgram products to be able to fully articulate our value proposition
• Research companies to find new speech recognition use cases and opportunities in the market

Requirements:

• 1+ year of customer-facing work experience in SaaS
• Prior sales experience selling a technical product
• Dynamic written and verbal communication skills
• Empathy and a unique ability to understand customer needs
• Exceptional at prioritizing complex outreach schedules and managing high-frequency touchpoints
• Experience prospecting companies that fit an ideal customer profile and understanding their business
• Consistently overachieved against sales targets in past experiences
