BUSINESS ANALYST

FCG is a product-based technology consulting company serving top North American clients with innovative technology solutions. They are seeking a Business Analyst to work on GIS product development, collaborating with project managers and global teams to define needs and customize technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Working with Project Manager to define needs and applying / customizing existing technology to meet those needs
• Working on GIS (Geographic Information System) product Development
• The candidate should be flexible, highly adaptable, and excellent team player
• The candidate should expect to work in a global virtual team spread across North America and India team members, sometimes across multiple time zones
• The candidate may be assigned to more than one role or project at a time
• Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player committed to delivering on time and should be able to work with minimal supervision
• Perform R&D related to Development work
• Good Communication: English Verbal & Written Communication is a must

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ GIS/ Geoinformatics with overall high academics
• 6- 7 years of experience as a GIS Developer (Senior)
• 6 to 7 years experience in developing websites, custom web mapping applications using .Net, ESRI Arc GIS, Arc Objects, Arc GIS Server side programming, ArcGIS Java script API
• Proven experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including, ASP.NET, ADO.NET Languages: C#, VB.Net, SQL/T-SQL, JavaScript/DHTML, VBScript, HTML, XML, Open source as well as Google Map API
• Experience in web mapping application development using AGOL (ArcGIS Online) – Web app builder and custom web app templates & custom widgets, ArcGIS Silverlight API, JavaScript API, ArcGIS Python script
• Experience in SQL Server 2005/2008/2012, ORACLE 11g,12C including schema design and writing complex SQL, stored procedures, and views etc
• Experience in working with ArcSDE geo database platform
• Write Oracle geospatial SQL procedures to find intersections between layers and generate new geospatial data points marking the intersections using only SQL
• Complete understanding of Oracle SDO_GEOMETRY and related data types
• Knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS Server published map services, ESRI ArcGIS Desktop, Queries, Joins, Map file configuration
• Good Communication: English Verbal & Written Communication is a must
• Experience in developing websites using Telerik's R.A.D. Editor would be preferred
• Some experience with front end UI (User Interface) design
