Senior Product Manager (Insights)

Energy Exemplar is a company focused on empowering transformative energy decisions through their innovative software solutions. They are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead their Insights Product Line, responsible for driving the product line's vision, strategy, and commercial success while managing a team across multiple regions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of product managers and related staff ensuring development, mentoring and coaching of team members
• Encourage a culture of customer focused collaboration and innovation
• Develop and articulate a clear vision and strategic plan for the Insights products
• Clearly define measurable goals for the products and measure performance against those goals
• Manage Development Backlog
• Build and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap defined by market demand, company strategy and competitor analysis
• Communicate that roadmap both internally and externally
• Monitor and analyze customer needs, industry trends and competitive landscape
• Use industry trends and customer feedback to inform product strategy
• Work closely with sales and marketing to define go-to-market strategy
• Collaborate with customer success to ensure customer satisfaction
• Monitor and measure product and feature adoption including onboarding, time to value, and NPS
• Drive growth and revenue generation strategies and work closely with sales to execute
• Monitor product performance and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement

Requirements:

• 10 years in the energy industry
• 5 years in a leadership role
• 5 years of product management
• High level of numeracy, computer and web literacy
• High level of experience with use of PowerPoint, Excel & Word
• Experience with power systems software or software as a service/solution
• Knowledge of technical software for data analysis, consulting and project experience
• Energy industry product management
• Extensive experience with power and natural gas markets in North America, Europe, and Asia
• Strong interpersonal presence and skills - demonstrated ability to build rapport
• Proficient with corporate productivity and presentation tools such as MS Office
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong listening and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Self-driven, results-orientated with a positive outlook and a focus on quality
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
• Sense of urgency for goal achievement
