How you’ll contribute
The Plant Operation Director leads facilities operations for the hospital, including maintenance of the physical plant, grounds, and equipment; facilities management and engineering; loss prevention; telecommunications; and hospital-wide safety. Establishes and monitors policies, preventive maintenance programs, and documentation to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Serves as Safety Officer and coordinates emergency response and corrective actions.
How you’ll contribute
Additional Information:
Coordinate vendors/contractors and supports Joint Commission preparedness.
Oversee preventive maintenance scheduling, work order prioritization, and documentation.
Support utility systems management and environment-of-care rounding.
Maintain basic computer records and communicate effectively with leadership and staff.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: One (1) year certificate from a college/technical school or three (3) years related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge: Utility systems management; hospital operations and Joint Commission preparedness (highly preferred).
Schedule: PRN (As Needed)
