DevOps Engineer

Wilcore Technologies, Inc. believes in building quality software for the federal space and values learning and growth. The DevOps Engineer will collaborate with other engineers to implement best practices for CI/CD and infrastructure, while also contributing to the development of a modern data science environment.

Responsibilities:

• Working hand in hand with great devops engineers building out devops best practices in the federal space
• This will include creating and documenting CI/CD jobs, creating infrastructure with Cloudformation, and helping define and build a modern data science/development environment
• Performs other related duties assigned

Requirements:

• Experience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation and Terraform
• Proficiency in managing AWS environments (ECS, S3, Lambda, RDS) and supporting Linux-based systems
• Strong background with Docker and container orchestration, including debugging and optimization
• Familiarity with data science platforms such as SageMaker, DataZone, and Athena
• Familiarity with Python and Go
• Collaborative, detail-oriented mindset with experience working in Agile development teams
• Self-starter with strong assertiveness and initiative; able to take ownership tasks, proactively navigate blockers, and drive through completion
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
• Bachelor's degree
