Tech Product Management Intern ( U.S.A Only)

Marketeq Talent is offering a remote, unpaid technical product management internship for graduate-level candidates. The intern will lead squad-level delivery of assigned epics, coordinate with product, engineering, QA, design, and project stakeholders, and ensure requirements, testing, MVP scope, and release readiness are completed.

Responsibilities:

• Own one assigned epic at a time, driving it from requirements alignment through QA completion, MVP scoping, staging readiness, and production release
• Lead squad-level coordination across a small delivery team (Product Manager, QA teammate, AI/full-stack engineer)
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and Scrum Master to run squad meetings, track progress, remove blockers, and keep epic execution aligned
• Ensure all epic requirements are fully completed per approved documentation, frontend requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, and data limitations
• Review existing documentation and verify frontend implementation matches documented requirements, rather than authoring documentation from scratch
• Work with engineers following internal SOPs to complete missing frontend documentation — user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, data dictionaries, and related implementation details
• Validate frontend and backend behavior against product requirements, workflow logic, business rules, and QA expectations
• Partner with QA to confirm testing is thorough and nothing important is left unresolved before release
• Identify gaps, contradictions, incomplete states, missing requirements, weak UX handling, or unfinished implementation that would block production readiness
• Collaborate with design and frontend teams as needed for polish or implementation cleanup
• Support release flow — moving completed work from development to staging for final QA, then scoping the MVP version for production
• Participate in general product management tasks: MVP scoping, prioritization support, epic readiness review, delivery coordination
• Work with the client advisory board to collect product feedback, validate usability/value, and turn conversations into actionable input
• Support outreach and recruitment for the client advisory board — identifying, inviting, and onboarding new members via existing SOP
• Help engage potential clients through advisory board participation to gather stronger feedback from real target users and prospective customers

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Master's degree in Engineering Management, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, QA/Testing, Product Management, or a closely related technical field
• Strong ability to understand technical requirements, system behavior, workflow logic, APIs, and data flow across full-stack products
• Strong ability to manage work across engineering, QA, and product stakeholders, ensuring deliverables meet spec
• Experience with user stories, acceptance criteria, and edge cases in a real product or technical environment
• Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and process discipline
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to coordinate across technical and non-technical team members
• Ability to think critically about release readiness, QA completeness, failure states, and real-world usage scenarios
• Comfortable operating inside Agile/Scrum workflows and cross-functional squad structures
