Common Criteria Software Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Common Criteria Software Engineer to develop and enhance a platform that provides real-time visibility into Common Criteria certification programs and projects within the cybersecurity industry. The role involves building a centralized solution for tracking certification status, testing progress, and overall program health across multiple security certification efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain a web-based platform for tracking Common Criteria certification programs and projects
• Build real-time dashboards and reporting tools that provide visibility into certification status, milestones, risks, deliverables, and testing progress
• Integrate data from multiple internal systems, project management tools, document repositories, Common Criteria testing tools, and FIPS testing environments into a unified platform
• Develop RESTful APIs, backend services, automated notifications, and workflow solutions to streamline certification tracking and stakeholder reporting
• Collaborate with security teams, program managers, certification stakeholders, and business leaders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of software development experience building enterprise applications
• Strong full-stack development experience with Python and React
• Experience developing APIs, microservices, dashboards, workflow automation tools, and reporting platforms
• Experience integrating data from multiple systems and data sources
• Proficiency with Python, TypeScript, and/or Go
• Strong cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases; experience working in Agile environments
• Common Criteria (CC), FIPS, cybersecurity, or compliance program experience preferred
