Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in Business, Accounting, MIS, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of functional experience with Oracle ERP Applications, including Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud Financials, with a focus on the Project Costing and Billing cycle (Cloud experience strongly preferred).
• Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Cloud PPM modules including Project Costing, Project Billing, Revenue Recognition, Budgeting/Forecasting, and Project Management; experience with burden/overhead cost allocation is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud technical tools including OTBI, BI Publisher, FBDI, and basic SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Finance and accounting business process knowledge, including Project-to-Bill and Record-to-Report cycles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working in Agile or iterative project environments preferred; ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

World Wide Technology is seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Cloud PPM Analyst to join our IT Financial Operations team. The ideal candidate will bring strong functional finance and business process expertise, complemented by working technical knowledge of Oracle Cloud PPM, focused on analyzing business requirements, configuring solutions, and supporting end-to-end Project Costing, Billing, and Project Management processes.

As a Senior IT Finance Analyst - Oracle Projects (PPM) – Financial Operations, you will:

Project Costing, Billing & Financial Operations

• Serve as the primary functional SME for Oracle Cloud PPM, including Project Costing, Project Billing, Revenue Recognition, Budgeting/Forecasting, Project Management, and Project Foundation (project and task structures).
• Lead requirements-gathering sessions with Finance, PMO, and Program/Project Management stakeholders to translate business needs into functional specifications and system configurations.
• Design, configure, and implement Oracle Cloud Projects solutions, including project types, project templates, task structures, expenditure types, cost/bill rate schedules, burden schedules, and billing controls to meet contract and compliance requirements.
• Own end-to-end testing activities include test plan development, unit testing, integration testing, and UAT execution.
• Provide day-to-day functional support for Oracle Cloud PPM, resolving project costing, billing, and revenue recognition issues and system defects in a timely manner and perform root cause analysis for PPM incidents and related modules.
• Act as liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring functional requirements are accurately translated into system solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams — Finance, PMO, IT, and external vendors — to drive successful implementation and adoption of Oracle Cloud Projects.
• Lead system enhancements, patch evaluations, and quarterly Oracle Cloud updates, assessing functional impact to project costing, billing, and revenue processes and coordinating regression testing.
• Develop and maintain functional documentation including BRDs, FDDs, configuration workbooks, and SOPs; support audit and compliance activities as required.
• Drive training and knowledge transfer sessions for project managers, end-users, and support teams to ensure confident adoption of PPM processes.
• Leverage working knowledge of OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, and FBDI/ADFDI to support troubleshooting and data flow validation.
• Working knowledge on maintaining reports and dashboards using OTBI and BI Publisher; write SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and issue resolution.
• Perform technical configurations in Oracle Cloud Projects including workflow rules, approval hierarchies, DFFs, and value sets to meet functional requirements.
• Support data migration activities by validating FBDI templates and coordinating with technical teams across Project Costing, Project Billing, and GL modules.
