Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Integration Architect with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Dataverse, and Azure Integration Services.

The architect will be responsible for defining and implementing end-to-end integration architectures across Dynamics 365 applications and Power Platform solutions. This individual will establish integration patterns and standards while ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Architecture

• Define end-to-end integration architecture across Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, and Finance & Operations.
• Design integration architectures for Power Platform and external enterprise applications.
• Establish reusable integration patterns, reference architectures, and technical standards.
• Define architecture for real-time, near-real-time, and batch integration scenarios.
• Evaluate technical options and select appropriate integration approaches based on business and technical requirements.

Dynamics 365 & Dataverse Integration

• Design integrations using Microsoft Dataverse, including Dual-write and Virtual Tables.
• Work with OData APIs, Webhooks, and Business Events.
• Architect integrations between Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Power Platform, and external enterprise systems.
• Analyze functional and non-functional requirements and translate them into scalable integration designs.
• Resolve complex integration and architecture issues.

Azure Integration Services

• Architect solutions using:
• Azure Logic Apps
• Azure Service Bus
• Azure Functions
• Azure API Management
• Develop and govern API-led integration strategies.
• Define integration approaches for API security, throttling, monitoring, and reliability.
• Establish reusable integration components and technical patterns.
• Evaluate new Azure capabilities and identify opportunities to improve solution efficiency.

Power Platform Integration

• Lead integration architecture involving Power Apps, including Canvas and Model-driven applications.
• Design Power Automate solutions for orchestration, workflows, and approvals.
• Support integration requirements involving Power BI reporting and embedded analytics.
• Design and govern custom connectors.
• Establish reusable Power Platform integration components.

Security & Governance

• Define authentication and authorization models using:
• Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
• OAuth 2.0
• Managed Identity
• Service Principals
• Ensure integration solutions follow appropriate data security and privacy standards.
• Support Power Platform governance and DLP policies.
• Work with the Power Platform Center of Excellence on environment and integration governance.

Solution Design & Technical Leadership

• Define architecture for mid-sized and complex projects.
• Develop detailed technical designs and architecture documentation.
• Conduct Proofs of Concept to validate technical feasibility.
• Review technical designs and development deliverables.
• Conduct code and architecture reviews.
• Identify performance issues and recommend optimized solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to development teams and project architects.
• Present design options and recommendations to customers and stakeholders.
• Work closely with client architects and SMEs to finalize solution designs.

Problem Resolution & Delivery

• Investigate complex technical problems and perform root-cause analysis.
• Recommend practical and measurable solutions.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
• Support Agile planning, sprint-level estimation, and technical delivery.
• Help development teams overcome complex technical challenges.
• Ensure delivery meets quality, schedule, and architecture standards.

Knowledge & Capability Development

• Create reusable architecture patterns, reference architectures, and integration components.
• Conduct technical knowledge-sharing sessions, training, and webinars.
• Contribute to technology capability development and internal knowledge repositories.
• Participate in technical assessments and architecture-related hiring activities.
• Contribute to proposals, estimations, case studies, and technology consulting activities.

Required Qualifications

• 10–14+ years of overall IT experience.
• 8+ years of experience with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform integrations.
• Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and/or Finance & Operations (F&O).
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Dataverse integration capabilities.
• Strong experience with Power Platform extensibility and integrations.
• Strong experience with Azure Integration Services.
• Hands-on architecture experience with:
• Azure Logic Apps
• Azure Service Bus
• Azure Functions
• Azure API Management
• Experience designing real-time, near-real-time, and batch integrations.
• Strong understanding of API architecture, security, monitoring, and governance.
• Experience with authentication technologies such as OAuth 2.0, Managed Identity, and Service Principals.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into enterprise solution architectures.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a senior Dynamics 365 / Azure Integration Architect who can independently own integration architecture, work directly with client architects and business stakeholders, guide development teams, and establish reusable enterprise integration standards.

The candidate should have a strong combination of Dynamics 365 F&O/CE, Power Platform, Dataverse, and Azure integration architecture experience rather than being focused solely on development.
