The purpose of this internship is to provide the selected intern with structured learning and practical exposure to implementation of communication, visibility, and digital engagement activities of UNDP Angola. while gaining first‑hand experience of the day‑to‑day working environment of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). The internship is designed as a learning opportunity to complement the intern’s academic or early professional training through supervised, hands‑on involvement in UNDP’s program or operational work. The internship is not intended to replace staff functions, nor does it constitute an employment relationship or imply any expectation of future employment with UNDP. Internally at UNDP, the intern will contribute to content development, multimedia production, social media management, event coverage, and documentation of UNDP initiatives, while supporting effective and engaging communication of UNDP’s work and impact in Angola.
Under the overall guidance of the UNV Communications & Advocacy Specialist, the Communications and Multimedia Intern will support communication, multimedia, and digital engagement activities of the Country Office, contributing to content development, storytelling, and visibility initiatives across UNDP Angola’s programmes and partnerships.
3. Events and Coordination Support
• Participate in event coverage, including photography, videography, and post-event documentation.
• Support the organization and visibility of events, campaigns, workshops, and outreach activities.
• Collaborate with programme teams and external partners where required to support communication activities.
• Undertake supervised communication related tasks, with opportunities to receive feedback and strengthen professional skills.

Interns receive a monthly stipend paid in local currency.
