We have 2  PSW/DSW vacancy for Community Client in Midland  area to provide care. Shifts may vary from mornings to evenings to overnights and every other weekend. Need to be experienced with Children with high  behaviors.

The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Provide personal care
• Drivers license and reliable car are mandatory for this position. 
• Providing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support  
• Provide behavior support and crisis intervention
• Maintaining open communication with client and their family
• Monitoring care plan and adding documentation with any changes and updates
• Responding to all emergency situations
• All other duties, as assigned

Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to:

• DSW/PSW/SSW  certification is required
• Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
• Completion of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check within last 6 months
• CPI training is an asset**
• Drivers License and own insured vehicle is mandatory  
• Satisfactory professional references
• Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions
• Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters
