The Territory Manager – Optical Services & Products will drive sales growth and manage customer relationships across assigned territories, engaging with various clients and promoting advanced optical products.

Responsibilities:

• Driving sales growth and managing customer relationships across assigned territories
• Engaging with eyecare practices, industrial clients, government accounts, and institutional partners to promote Rochester Optical’s eyewear, safety solutions, and advanced optical products
• Prospecting and qualifying new accounts, conducting virtual and on-site product presentations, coordinating demonstrations and trials, and managing the sales pipeline from initial contact through order fulfillment
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate inventory availability, timely delivery, and high levels of customer satisfaction
• Providing ongoing product training and support to client teams
• Monitoring territory performance, preparing sales forecasts and reports, and representing the company at industry events and trade shows when required

Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of Customer Satisfaction and deliver proactive, solution-oriented Customer Service
• Experience with Inventory Control, including coordinating product availability and managing customer orders efficiently
• Familiarity with optical products or related technologies; exposure to Optical Fiber or optical systems is beneficial
• Proven Training skills, with the ability to educate customers and internal stakeholders on product features, benefits, and best practices
• 3+ years of outside sales or territory management experience, preferably in optical, medical device, safety, or related industries
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build long-term partnerships across diverse customer segments
• Comfort working independently in a remote environment, managing travel within assigned territories as business needs require
• Proficiency with CRM tools, basic data analysis, and standard productivity software to track leads, opportunities, and performance metrics
