Business Analyst

EXL is a data analytics and digital operations company that helps businesses use data, AI, and industry expertise to improve operations and outcomes. The Lead Business Analyst will develop and drive payment integrity product solutions by analyzing client information, defining requirements, identifying opportunities, supporting bids, and overseeing implementations. The role also involves creating client-facing materials, maintaining KPIs, and delivering data-driven business insights.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze client information to identify potential improvement areas and partner with internal team to design solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and define business requirements
• Identify and validate new opportunities through data analysis and assessments in partnership with the internal team and clients
• Provide insights to build compelling business cases for new products or product enhancements for clients
• Assist with the complete bid process, from RFI/RFP analysis to win plan development
• Document business requirements, process flows, and project plans
• Oversee project progress, proactively address roadblocks, and ensure successful implementations
• Partner with marketing, sales, and growth teams to create impactful client-facing materials
• Champion these materials to internal teams to support client pitches and presentations
• Collaborate with finance, MIS, and reporting teams to extract, build, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks
• Validate and analyze data to provide fact-based insights to leadership
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative business analysis

Requirements:

• 5-6 years of experience (or equivalent combination) in technology and product management, ideally within healthcare IT, claims processing, or data analytics
• Hands-on experience with systems and software implementation
• Experienced in leading large projects
• Thrived in a global delivery model and understand the complexities of working across diverse teams and time zones
• Strong relationship building and collaboration skills
• Proficient in data analysis and process visualization tools, leveraging SQL to extract valuable insights
• Passionate about staying ahead of the curve and fostering a culture of learning within your team
• Always keep the client's perspective at the forefront, proactively understanding their needs and exceeding expectations
• Self-starter with a track record of success in delivering projects on time and within budget
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and can present complex information clearly and concisely
• Knowledge of claims auditing
• Strong Excel and presentation skills
