Account Manager I - Local Sales

USA TODAY Co., Inc. is a diversified media company dedicated to empowering and enriching communities. The Account Manager, Client Success role focuses on building and maintaining strong partnerships with clients, helping them understand campaign performance and make strategic marketing decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Own the client relationship post-sale, building trust, maintaining strong communication, and ensuring clients understand the value LocaliQ delivers
• Understand client goals and expectations and translate them into clear marketing strategies and campaign plans
• Conduct regular performance reviews and client conversations to communicate results, identify trends, and recommend next steps
• Review campaign performance alongside post-sale optimization partners to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
• Develop and articulate data-driven marketing recommendations across search, display, social, email, and O&O digital and print channels
• Advise clients on current and emerging marketing strategies that can help them achieve their business goals
• Ensure a consistent marketing message and strategy across multiple channels and solutions
• Partner closely with Sales teams to maintain alignment around client goals, opportunities, and long-term account strategy
• Collaborate with optimization, ad operations, and other internal support teams to resolve issues, improve performance, and deliver against client objectives
• Proactively identify new opportunities to improve campaign performance, client satisfaction, and overall account growth
• Maintain accurate client and campaign information within CRM and other LocaliQ systems
• Manage multiple client priorities and campaigns while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines

Requirements:

• 3+ years of client-facing service or account management experience
• 2+ years of hands-on experience managing online or digital advertising campaigns
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Working knowledge of digital advertising channels including paid search, display, social media, email marketing, analytics, and tracking concepts such as GA4
• Ability to quickly learn and apply marketing, business process, and technology concepts
• Strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to review campaign performance and translate data into actionable recommendations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain marketing concepts and performance results to clients
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to effectively work across Sales, Operations, Optimization, and other internal teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail, organization, and accountability
• Moderate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications required
• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, marketing, advertising, public relations, journalism, English, or a related field
