Business Intelligence Engineer 2, Data Enablement

Humana is a leading U.S. healthcare company dedicated to improving the health and well-being of millions. As a Business Intelligence Engineer 2 on the Data Enablement Team, you will work on key datasets and automation to support Care Management and other clinical programs, ensuring that critical data is available for decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate and analyze multiple data sources, bringing them together into a single source of truth
• Serve as a subject matter expert for our partner teams in understanding and utilizing the data
• Build and maintain pipelines and automation to allow our data products to scale rapidly and efficiently

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Less than 5 years of technical experience in data analysis and/or data engineering
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
• 1 or more years of experience in SQL or SAS
• 1 or more years of experience in Python or PySpark
• 1 or more years of experience in Databricks, building automated pipelines
• Expertise in assessing complex data sets and performing root cause analysis
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
• Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Ability to use data to drive business outcomes and decisions
