Overview: Seeking a MedTech SME to guide operating model design, product development strategy, and sourcing decisions across medical devices and life sciences.
Responsibilities
Advise on MedTech operating models across R&D, engineering, sustainment, and postmarket support.
Assess current delivery structures and identify improvements in cost, speed, quality, and scalability.
Define insource/outsource / cosource strategies across software, hardware, systems engineering, and testing.
Shape futurestate operating models for product lifecycle and sustainment.
Convert industry trends and client pain points into actionable recommendations.
Support business cases, roadmaps, proposals, and executive discussions.
Requirements
10+ years in MedTech, medical devices, or life sciences engineering.
Strong knowledge of product development, sustaining engineering, quality, and regulated lifecycles.
Experience with operating model design or service delivery transformation.
Solid understanding of regulatory and quality expectations.
Clear communication with executive and technical audiences.
Preferred
Global delivery or supplier transformation experience.
Familiarity with AI, automation, digital engineering, or connected devices.
Consulting or strategy background.
