Job Description

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is seeking an experienced Software Developer 2 to design, develop, and support enterprise applications built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing Model-Driven Apps, Dataverse solutions, C# plugins, JavaScript customizations, REST API integrations, and CI/CD practices within collaborative development environments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform
• Experience developing Model-Driven Apps
• Strong knowledge of Dataverse (tables, relationships, security model)
• C#/.NET plugin and server-side development
• JavaScript customization within Dynamics 365 / Power Apps
• REST API integration experience
• Git source control with feature branching, pull requests, and merge conflict resolution
• Experience working in collaborative, multi-developer environments with shared codebases

• Power Apps Component Framework (PCF)
• Power BI integration
• Power Pages development
• Power Platform Dataflows (ETL/Data Ingestion)
• Government/Public Sector experience
• Microsoft Certifications (PL-400, PL-600)

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Dynamics 365 Model-Driven Apps and Dataverse solutions
