Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Performance Engineer with strong expertise in PostgreSQL and Azure database platforms. The role focuses on database performance optimization, capacity planning, workload analysis, right-sizing, monitoring, and proactive risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze database workloads and recommend right-sizing, scale-up, and scale-down actions.
Perform PostgreSQL and Azure database performance tuning and optimization.
Monitor database performance, capacity, utilization, and trends.
Develop performance reports with actionable insights and statistical thresholds.
Conduct post-mortemroot-cause analysis for performance issues.
Identify performance risks and implement proactive remediation.
Support capacity planning and forecasting across Azure database environments.
Drive continuous improvement and performance optimization initiatives.
Automate performance monitoring and capacity-management activities where applicable.
Maintain strong technical documentation, knowledge bases, and operational procedures.
Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to resolve database performance issues.
