Job Description
We are seeking Data Center Installation Technicians to support structured cabling and fiber infrastructure projects in a fast-paced data center environment. This role is ideal for individuals with construction, data center, or low-voltage experience who are looking to grow their careers in the booming technology infrastructure industry. Candidates should have a strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
What You'll Do
• Pull, dress, and label Cat5e/Cat6 cabling according to industry standards
• Perform terminations, punch-downs, and patch panel connections
• Install and support wireless access points (WAPs) and related infrastructure
• Assist with fiber optic cable handling, routing, and dressing
• Support cable testing using Fluke, EXFO, and other testing equipment
• Follow installation standards, project drawings, and customer requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work closely with senior technicians and supervisors to complete projects on schedule
What You Bring
• 1-3 years of experience in low-voltage, structured cabling, construction, or data center environments
• Experience with cable pulling, punch-downs, and basic terminations
• Familiarity with Cat5e/Cat6 cabling systems
• Ability to use hand tools and work comfortably in construction environments
• Reliable transportation and commitment to a Monday-Saturday schedule
• Strong attendance, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
• Ability to pass required background and drug screenings
Nice to Have
• Experience working with ISP fiber and copper networks
• Fiber optic cabling experience
• Data center experience
• Experience using Fluke or EXFO testing equipment
• Wireless access point installation experience

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Saint George, SC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
