Job Description – Bug Triage Specialist
Experience: 3–5 Years
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze user-reported issues and reproduce bugs across iOS, Android, and Web platforms.
Identify and link duplicate bugs to maintain a clean backlog.
Assess business and technical impact and prioritize bugs accordingly.
Route bugs to the appropriate engineering teams and stakeholders.
Track bugs through resolution and remove blockers where required.
Retest fixes after deployment and verify issue resolution.
Analyze auto-resolved bugs and backlog trends to identify recurring issues and process improvements.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and identify underlying issues.
Convert vague user reports into clear and actionable technical bug tickets.
Identify opportunities to improve and streamline the bug triage process.
Required Skills:
3–5 years of professional experience in Software QA.
Strong understanding of STLC and Bug Life Cycle.
Hands-on experience reproducing and troubleshooting issues on iOS, Android, and Web applications.
Experience with Jira, T3, or similar bug tracking tools.
Good understanding of bug states such as Open, In Progress, and Fixed.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge of data analysis and RCA.
Good knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace.
Ability to prioritize issues based on user impact, business impact, and severity.
Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Quick learner with a proactive and self-driven approach.
