DevOps Engineer

RecurBack helps SaaS and subscription businesses recover revenue from failed payments, unpaid invoices, and lapsed subscriptions through a secure Stripe-based platform. The DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure for the payment recovery platform while automating deployments, monitoring performance, maintaining Linux systems, and improving reliability, security, and developer tooling.

• Building and managing infrastructure as code
• Automating deployment pipelines
• Monitoring system performance
• Ensuring high availability and reliability of services
• Maintaining and securing Linux-based systems
• Optimizing CI workflows
• Supporting developers with tooling, environments, and observability
• Help improve incident response processes
• Enhance security and compliance practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement across the engineering stack

Requirements:

• Strong System Administration skills with experience managing Linux-based environments
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices for provisioning and managing cloud resources
• Experience with Continuous Integration and deployment pipelines, including build, test, and release automation
• Background in Software Development, enabling effective collaboration with engineers and scripting for automation
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization/orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure system reliability and performance
• Understanding of security best practices, including secrets management, encryption, and access control
• Comfort working in a remote, asynchronous environment with clear communication and documentation skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is beneficial
