Cloud Security Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a hands-on Cloud Security Engineer for a 9-month contract role supporting a client. The role focuses on securing AWS encryption keys, certificates, and sensitive data while developing automation, secure APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure integrations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage AWS KMS, CloudHSM, IAM, and Secrets Manager
• Manage HSM provisioning, key generation, storage, rotation, and lifecycle
• Support PKI, certificate management, encryption, tokenization, and digital signatures
• Develop automation using Java, Python, and Shell scripting
• Build and integrate secure REST APIs
• Implement secure CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Terraform
• Support security controls, troubleshooting, and enterprise integrations

Requirements:

• Strong experience with AWS KMS and HSM technologies
• Knowledge of cryptography, PKI, encryption, and key management
• Strong Java and Python development/scripting skills
• Experience with REST APIs and secure API integrations
• Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform
• Strong security engineering and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Thales, Entrust, SafeNet, or Utimaco HSMs
