Data Analytics Engineer (gn) - Talent Pool

TrendMiner develops a process data analytics platform that helps industrial process experts analyze, monitor, report on, and improve production processes. The Data Analytics Engineer will support customers by applying platform and process-industry expertise, delivering training, developing analytics use cases, representing customer needs internally, and implementing Python-based custom solutions. The role is highly customer-facing and includes travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities:

• Quickly build deep platform expertise to serve as an internal and external functional expert, driven by your affinity for technology and data analytics
• Work on data analytics use cases alongside customers, collaborating with their process experts to achieve outcomes with TrendMiner - while transferring knowledge to make them more self-sufficient, and bringing high-value use cases back as input for product and marketing
• Deliver introductory trainings to new user groups, and enable customer-side "train-the-trainer" champions
• Act as the voice of the customer internally, helping shape further product development
• Implement custom solutions on top of TrendMiner using Python for high-value use cases requiring customization or automation, translating customer needs into functional requirements

Requirements:

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline - for example Chemical Engineering, Process Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, or similar - or equivalent professional experience
• Experience with analytics in the process industry
• Experience with Python for scripting and data analytics
• Professional fluency in English is required
• Proactive, independent worker with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Additional proficiency in French, German, Dutch, or Spanish is highly valued
