Software Engineer - Servicenow

A-Line Staffing Solutions is a staffing and workforce solutions company. The ServiceNow Developer will design, develop, enhance, administer, and support enterprise ServiceNow solutions in a healthcare environment, including custom applications, workflows, reports, dashboards, and catalog items. The role also involves platform monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrades, documentation, testing, stakeholder collaboration, and production support.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, configure, and implement custom ServiceNow applications and platform enhancements
• Build and maintain catalog items, record producers, workflows, reports, dashboards, and other platform capabilities
• Develop technical solutions based on business and functional requirements
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical walkthroughs to ensure quality and adherence to development standards
• Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform and its applications
• Monitor platform health, usage, and overall performance
• Coordinate and support platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely application support
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions
• Develop, test, and deploy moderately complex applications and system enhancements
• Create technical documentation and maintain development artifacts
• Develop test scenarios and support system testing activities
• Ensure all deliverables meet established quality and development standards
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Process Owners, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and recommend technical solutions
• Support implementation efforts by collaborating with cross-functional technical teams
• Provide second-level production support and participate in on-call rotations as needed
• Stay current on new ServiceNow capabilities and emerging technologies

Requirements:

• 4+ years of application development or software engineering experience
• 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience across multiple modules
• Experience supporting enterprise ServiceNow implementations and platform administration
• 3+ years of experience working in a healthcare environment with knowledge of HIPAA requirements
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience developing custom ServiceNow applications, workflows, reports, dashboards, and catalog items
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) within ServiceNow
• Experience with ServiceNow platform upgrades and release management
• Experience supporting production environments and application monitoring
• Familiarity with ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or additional ServiceNow modules
• Experience participating in Agile software development environments
