Revit Designer/Project Manager

Food Service Design Studios (FSDS) is a food service consulting firm focused on commercial food service operations and serves markets including education, healthcare, hospitality, sports, and public facilities. The Revit Designer/Project Manager will create and coordinate Revit-based construction drawings, develop food service layouts, collaborate with project stakeholders, and manage project timelines and deliverables. The role also supports submittal reviews, site visits, building condition surveys, design development, and construction administration.

Responsibilities:

• Creating and modifying Revit-based construction drawings
• Coordinating space planning and equipment layouts for food service environments
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and clients to refine designs
• Managing project timelines, deliverables, and documentation
• Preparing and reviewing submittals to ensure compliance with design intent and specifications
• Participate in site visits
• Support building condition surveys
• Assist in design development and construction administration activities

Requirements:

• Ability to produce and coordinate detailed construction drawings and Revit models for food service projects
• Skills in space planning and architecture to develop efficient, code-compliant layouts for commercial food service operations
• Experience with project management, including scheduling, coordination with stakeholders, and oversight of project deliverables
• Knowledge of submittals processes, including reviewing, tracking, and communicating design-related requirements to project teams
• Proficiency in Revit
• Understanding of commercial kitchen equipment, building systems, and relevant codes and standards is required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse clients and team members
• Associate or bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage multiple projects, and maintain attention to detail under deadlines
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, KCL, Auto Quotes, or similar design tools is beneficial
