Seasonal Trend Product Designer

Avery Dennison is a global materials science and digital identification solutions company serving customers in more than 50 countries. The Seasonal Trend Product Designer will lead the creative vision and development of Embelex seasonal embellishment collections, interpret fashion trends, support technical design solutions, and help execute global sample launches across apparel and secondary markets.

Responsibilities:

• Guide the overall creative vision, design, and development product strategy for Embelex seasonal sample collections
• Drive and own end-to-end operational launch success through calendar and process accountability and strategic evolutions
• Stay on top of industry trends by conducting regular market and competitive analysis for knowledge of emerging consumer trends, product innovations, segmentation, and competitors
• Provide design and product technical support to the newness team, fostering creative troubleshooting and solutions mindset
• Validate back-end support for global launch, including sample distribution, product photography, product merchandising support, and product data distribution

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in graphic design, trims/embellishment design, and applying seasonal fashion trend forecasts to production artwork
• Expert presentation and communication skills, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and digital presentation tools
• Applicants are required to submit a design portfolio
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Textile, Fine Arts, or equivalent experience preferred
• Up to 5 years of experience as a graphic designer in a commercial design setting or freelance capacity, preferably in the apparel and footwear industry
