Project Engineer - Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Structural

ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will engage in a variety of engineering tasks, providing approval on project plans for gas transmission and natural gas pipeline projects while collaborating closely with senior engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with Project Managers and Unit Leaders to progress complex and technical engineering designs
• Improving processes and practices
• Assisting in the preparation of proposals by estimating engineering hours
• Ensuring quality control systems are followed
• Applying complex technical information to designs, ensuring projects meet specifications
• Fully understanding design requirements in your area of expertise
• Supporting small, medium, and large multi-discipline projects, directing the activities of engineers, drafters and designers, and preparing complex technical analyses
• Sharing information with your team and questioning internal and external stakeholders to appreciate design requirements and nuances
• Interacting with clients, estimating proposals, and understanding the role of business development in achieving operational goals

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, structural or civil engineering from accredited institution
• Minimum of 4 years of work experience in the pipeline industry or a related industry
• Experience with gas facility work and/or compressor stations
• Professional Engineer (PE) License
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
