Founding Account Executive (Sales)

Wyre AI is a B2B startup focused on revolutionizing preconstruction workflows through artificial intelligence. The Founding Account Executive will build and own the revenue engine by prospecting, managing the full sales cycle, closing enterprise deals, and helping define the company’s sales playbook, ideal customer profile, and go-to-market strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Work inbound and outbound opportunities
• Work alongside Founder on strategic high priority accounts
• Build pipeline from scratch — identify, research, and prioritize target accounts across GCs, subcontractors, and owners
• Execute high-quality outreach through email, LinkedIn, phone, and industry events
• Consistently maintain a 3-4x pipeline coverage ratio against quarterly targets
• Consistently host 8-12 demos per week
• Lead discovery calls to uncover pain, quantify impact, and map stakeholder priorities
• Navigate multi-stakeholder deals across Preconstruction, Operations, and C-level executives
• Run 8-12 product demos per week tailored to each buyer’s specific workflow and pain points
• Manage the full sales cycle, from demo to close
• Build mutual action plans (MAPs) with champions to drive urgency and align internal buying processes
• Own and exceed monthly and quarterly ARR targets
• Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and procurement processes with confidence and flexibility
• Handle legal review cycles, security questionnaires, and enterprise procurement workflows
• Create urgency without pressure — use business case ROI, timeline alignment, and champion coaching
• Accurately forecast pipeline and deal progression in Salesforce with weekly updates to leadership
• Help define and refine Wyre AI’s ICP, target verticals, and sales motion from early traction data
• Identify patterns across won/lost deals and feed actionable insights back to product and founder
• Collaborate on content strategy, case studies, and campaign messaging that converts
• Represent Wyre AI at construction tech conferences, industry events, and trade associations
• Build relationships with economic buyers and champions at key accounts
• Ensure smooth handoff to Customer Success with thorough context on deal drivers and expectations
• Identify expansion and upsell opportunities in the existing customer base
• Act as the voice of the customer internally — bring market feedback to product, engineering, and leadership
• Own CRM hygiene — maintain accurate data, deal stages, activity logs, and pipeline forecasts in Salesforce
• Leverage sales engagement tools (Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft, or equivalent)
• Build reusable assets: pitch decks, one-pagers, ROI calculators, and battlecards for key verticals
• Track and report key sales metrics: outbound volume, conversion rates, average deal size, sales cycle, win rate

Requirements:

• 5+ years of B2B SaaS or enterprise software sales experience
• Proven track record of closing deals in the $20K–$200K+ ARR range
• Experience selling into construction, real estate, infrastructure, or adjacent industries
• Skilled in consultative selling, MEDDIC/SPIN/Challenger or similar frameworks
• Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication — compelling storyteller
• Strong negotiation skills with experience navigating procurement and legal cycles
• Experience as an early sales hire or founding AE at a startup
• Familiarity with AI/ML products, document intelligence, or construction workflows
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Apollo, and other sales-related software solutions
• Network within construction GCs, owners, or project management firms
