Quality Assurance Engineer

I Verve Inc helps mid-market companies and scaling startups modernize outdated software into cloud-ready, AI-enabled architectures through legacy modernization, AI integration, and dedicated engineering teams. The Quality Assurance Engineer will design and execute testing for modernized software systems, perform manual and automated testing, manage defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases.

Responsibilities:

• Design, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for complex, modernized and AI-enabled software systems
• Performing manual and automated testing
• Validating new features and bug fixes
• Tracking and documenting defects
• Collaborating with developers, product managers, and other engineers to ensure high-quality releases
• Participating in requirement reviews
• Refining test strategies
• Contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes
• Supporting regression, integration, and performance testing across multiple projects

Requirements:

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Testing and Quality Assurance, with experience in modern software development environments
• Candidates should possess practical experience in Manual Testing and Test Execution for web, mobile, or enterprise applications
• Candidates should possess ability to design, document, and manage Test Cases, including regression and integration test suites
• Candidates should possess familiarity with test management tools, defect tracking systems, and version control (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Git)
• Experience with basic automation testing concepts and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar) is beneficial
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) is preferred
