Technical Product Owner - Banking Payments Applications (100% Remote)

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Technical Product Owner will drive the vision and execution for innovative banking solutions within a diversified financial services environment. Operating as the voice of the customer, this role uses human-centered design principles to shape product roadmaps and refine features for cloud-based banking payment applications. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and stakeholders to align business objectives with robust technical architecture and continuous delivery.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Shape, prioritize, and manage the product backlog and roadmap using a human-centered design approach.
• Drive the development and continuous refinement of product features by integrating customer feedback, market trends, and performance metrics.
• Validate and test product ideas through recurrent feedback loops to guide timely architectural and functional adjustments.
• Serve as a subject matter expert across cloud infrastructure, WebSphere environments, and architecture patterns to solve complex problems.
• Coordinate cross-functional technical teams to ensure alignment between business goals, technical capabilities, and Agile delivery milestones.
• Facilitate clear, transparent communication and feedback channels between key business stakeholders and engineering teams.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Cloud Infrastructure experience (5+ years)
• WebSphere platform experience (5+ years)
• Software Architecture Patterns experience (5+ years)
• Banking / Financial Services industry experience, specifically with Banking Payments Applications
