Business Applications Analyst

Stuart Rush is a private business specializing in chain and hoist manufacturing, with operations in Damascus, Virginia, and Lexington, Tennessee. The Business Applications Analyst will own the Epicor ERP application, handling support, troubleshooting, configuration, customizations, integrations, and continuous improvement while partnering with business functions. The role is expected to grow into broader ownership of the company’s business application portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the Epicor ERP application implementation, including day-to-day support, troubleshooting, configuration, enhancements, and continuous improvement
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technology and application solutions
• Develop and maintain Epicor customizations, reports, dashboards, workflows, and integrations
• Partner with Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and other business functions to understand business needs and improve application capabilities
• Manage application enhancements, testing, upgrades, releases, and system changes
• Support integration between Epicor and other enterprise applications
• Establish application documentation, support procedures, standards, and best practices
• Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and better utilization of business applications
• Participates in application roadmap development, prioritization, and lifecycle planning
• Maintain an understanding of the overall application landscape and how systems integrate across the organization
• Gradually assume ownership of additional business applications beyond Epicor
• Support application security, access management, data integrity, and system governance

Requirements:

• Experience as an Epicor Developer, ERP Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Application Analyst, or similar
• Open to candidates from either the technical/development side or the functional/analyst side. The most key factors are strong Epicor experience, good business understanding, and the ability and interest to eventually take ownership of a broader application portfolio
• Experience with Epicor customization, reporting, integrations, and troubleshooting
• Ability to work directly with business users and translate business needs into technology solutions
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Experience working with software vendors or third-party technology partners is a plus
• This is a remote role with travel as needed
• Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2-5+ years of hands-on experience with Epicor ERP, preferably Epicor 10/Kinetic
• Strong understanding of business processes, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Exposure to other enterprise applications beyond Epicor is highly desirable
