Sr. AWS DevOps Engineer

4A Consulting, LLC is a women-owned boutique consulting firm delivering data-driven technology solutions to federal government and Fortune 500 clients. The Senior AWS DevOps Engineer will support AWS cloud infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline development, and DevOps operations, while collaborating across teams to optimize cloud-native environments and incorporate Generative AI services.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab
• Deploy, manage, and optimize AWS cloud services and infrastructure
• Implement version control workflows and release management processes
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to support cloud-native applications
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments for performance and reliability
• Support automation initiatives across infrastructure and deployment processes

Requirements:

• • Hands-on experience with Terraform
• • Strong proficiency with AWS services including VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, and CloudWatch
• • Strong experience building and managing Jenkins pipelines and GitLab CI/CD
• • Experience with version control workflows, preferably GitLab
• • Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and AWS GenAI service offerings

• • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or AWS Solutions Architect certification
• • Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and container orchestration
• • Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
• • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
• • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK
• • Experience with serverless technologies including AWS Lambda and API Gateway
• • Familiarity with security best practices, IAM governance, and compliance frameworks
