Business Intelligence Analytics Partner

SSM Health is a healthcare organization focused on delivering quality care and improving health outcomes. The Business Intelligence Analytics Partner collaborates with operational leaders to develop analytics solutions, maintain Power BI dashboards and data pipelines, and transform complex Epic and healthcare data into accurate, actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop or support analytics solutions
• Develops a strong understanding of the business. Obtains and maintains Epic certification in Clarity/Cogito/Caboodle as required for area of focus, and at direction of leader
• Develops and/or maintains dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI and other reporting tools
• Collaborates with manager to track work in sprints, defining clear objectives with success criteria with success criteria in each two-week period, or, dependent upon work, manage via Kanban
• Develops and maintains code across multiple data platforms (SQL server, Data Bricks, etc.) to extract meaningful and accurate information from complex and massive data sets
• Ensures data accuracy and integrity by performing data validation and quality checks. Performs user acceptance testing
• Supports continuous improvement in analytics methodologies and processes
• Participates in relevant meetings for projects and knowledge sharing. May provide technical documentation and/or instruction to operation leaders
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or combination of combined education and experience
• One year experience
• Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements
• Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors
• Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc
• Frequent keyboard use/data entry
• Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping
• Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs
• Rare climbing
