Project Manager- Municipal Infrastructure

Parametrix is a 100% employee-owned consulting firm delivering resilient infrastructure, livable communities, and environmentally sustainable solutions. The Project Manager will oversee multidisciplinary municipal infrastructure projects, manage contracts, procurement, schedules, costs, risks, and deliverables, and lead project management plans and procedures. The role also supports business development, RFPs, and client presentations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee project activities across multiple disciplines, including planning and design services, as well as, owner’s advisory services, procurement, construction management, strategic communications, Equity & Social Justice (ESJ), outreach and engagement, and other functions
• Bring expertise in understanding of client goals through comprehensive project scheduling, cost estimating, risk management, work package planning, and process oversight, while maintaining accurate tracking and reporting
• Lead the creation and implementation of project management plans and procedures, supporting efficient project execution
• Provide expertise in contract analysis, value engineering, and risk assessments to enhance project planning and execution strategies
• Participate in business development, RFP support, and client presentations, contributing to department growth and project pursuit efforts

Requirements:

• 5+ years of progressive multi-disciplinary project management experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience overseeing complex, multi-disciplinary teams
• Experience working directly with municipal clients and agencies
• Experience with contract analysis, constructability reviews, value engineering studies, and risk assessments
• Alternative/collaborative delivery experience is preferred
• PMP or other relevant certification is preferred
