Project Manager

Nuveen, a TIAA company, is seeking a Project Manager to bring people, ideas, and priorities together to deliver projects effectively. The role owns projects from planning through completion, coordinating stakeholders and teams while managing timelines, budgets, risks, documentation, and communication. The successful candidate will be organized, practical, dependable, and comfortable managing changing priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead projects from initial planning through successful delivery
• Work with stakeholders and team members to understand goals, priorities, and expectations
• Build realistic project plans, timelines, and milestones
• Keep projects on track and make sure responsibilities are clear
• Identify risks or roadblocks early and work with the right people to resolve them
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and decisions clearly to stakeholders
• Coordinate across teams and help remove obstacles that slow the work down
• Manage project scope, timelines, resources, and budgets where applicable
• Keep project documentation, schedules, and action items organized
• Help teams stay focused without creating unnecessary processes or meetings
• Learn from completed projects and look for ways to make future projects run better

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing projects from start to finish
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Clear, confident communication with both technical and non-technical teams
• The ability to manage multiple priorities without losing sight of the bigger picture
• Good judgment and a practical approach to solving problems
• Comfortable working with changing priorities and tight deadlines
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to build positive working relationships
• Experience with project management tools such as [Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Microsoft Project, or similar]
• A degree in business, project management, or a related field is helpful, but relevant experience matters more
